It has to be the first time someone bridges the gap between East Flanders and the US West Coast this easily. The 19-year old chap from Sint-Niklaas brings the kind of hip hop we only knew from seasoned California OG’s: a Joey Bada$$ flow, Biggie Smalls rhymes and catchy summer beats à la Wiz Khalifa. The imposing Woodie Smalls got streamed over 600K times, won two Red Bull Elektropedia Awards and is well on his way to become an international rap star.
