Since 2006, Couleur Café has been putting Belgian talent in the spotlight through our Wanted!-platform. Over the past 10 years, 68 Wanted!-bands and 47 Wanted!-DJ’s got the opportunity to perform on our festival, often launching a successful career. Among them artists like Puggy, Selah Sue and Coely. From this year on, we decided to take things into our own hands, that way not missing out on any musical gem. By proactively visiting countless concerts and festivals we managed to handpick our ideal be.focus selection.
With this be.focus label we also aim to promote our artists more effectively, both home and abroad. This is this year's selection: Woodie Smalls, Pomrad, Roméo Elvis & Le Motel, Atomic Spliff, G.A.N, LTGL, Kel Assouf, Chicos y Mendez and GRANDGEORGE.
For our be.focus DJ selection, we work with every music connoisseur’s favorite online music platform, 22tracks. This streaming website has a multitude of wise curators for loads of musical genres in Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris and London. Every month each of them selects his or her best-loved 22 tracks. Together with 22tracks we selected 15 DJ’s and DJ collectives for our Mamafoufou and Clandestino stages : Bafana, Boochie, Champion Sound, DJ Kwak, DJ ReeDoo, DJ Vega, Dub Front Association, Groovalicious DJ's, Goodfellaz Soundsystem, Karawane, Mr. Leenknecht, Onda Sonora, Soul Shakers, Supafly Collective et Tomaz.
