Chicos y Mendez is the Latin rock band you need to discover this summer. These fellows are always committed to spreading a positive and festive message and perform both in French and Spanish, due to frontman David Méndez Yépez’ Peruvian-Belgian nationality. On stage their alterlatino, as they like to call their take on latin music, leaves no one indifferent, from the Belgian festival stages to opening for Manu Chao. This last one’s producer Gambeat jams alongside the band on their impeccable debut album ¡Siempre de Pie!.
